卒姆托說:"當你喜歡一些材料并坦誠地去接觸它的時候，你會把它用得很好，很溫暖親切。"項目設計的開頭便圍繞材料展開。

"When you love something and you're open to it, you use it well and it's warm and intimate," Zumthor says. The design of the project begins with materials.

從外側的陽台步入室内，空間由幽深轉向明亮開闊，是設計将樂章中前奏到主歌的過渡轉化到空間。直接映入眼簾的是如同水體一般靈動而具有力量感的氛圍，剔透而堅實的落地玻璃大面積鋪設，微水泥使空間的調性在材料的調動下得到升華。

What you see directly is a flexible and powerful atmosphere just like water. Carved and solid floor-to-ceiling glass is laid in a large area. Micro-cement sublimates the tonality of the space under the mobilization of materials.

構造的詩意

━

邏輯清晰的結構和構造就能産生永恒的美。用馬曼奴批刮的牆頗具韻律感，不斷變化的體量具有指向性。牆體的面積逐漸變小，它們之間的空隙則逐漸增大，猶如對仗一般，這樣既為室内濾進一些外部景觀與光線，我們又不至于在欣賞内部環境時被外景吸引過多注意力。結構的比例變化為表達方式，空間的秩序感自此産生。

Logical structure and construction can produce eternal beauty. The wall scraped with Mamanu has a sense of rhythm, and the constantly changing volume has directivity.

整體以"疏影橫斜水清淺，暗香浮動月黃昏"為意象，勾勒出有着當代肌理的詩畫意。

The whole to "thin shadow slanting water shallow, dark fragrance floating moon dusk" as the image, outline has a contemporary texture of poetry and painting.

界面與景深

"人造房子，房子也造人。"好的空間氛圍塑造的感官體驗是在形式之上的。洽談區天花作中空處理，外部覆以木制懸梁，光源經過頂部的過濾柔和地散發而出，充滿煙雨朦胧的美感。

"A house is made, and a house is made." The sensory experience shaped by good space atmosphere is based on form.

透過玻璃能夠觀望到外部輕柔的雲船，看其與朦胧的星宿光圖結合，不由得想到明初詩人唐珙的詩句:"醉後不知天在水，滿船清夢壓星河。"置身雲船之下，體會到的隻有詩句中純粹感官體驗。

藝術與自然

身處下沉洽談區時，若風光正好，可見窗外虬勁盎然的草木，粼粼波光反射到窗台上、天花上，在人工空間中無比貼近自然，是難以言明的舒暢。
